Morphology and Deformation Behavior of Crosslinked Butylacrylate Copolymer Gels, Prepared by Graft Reactions

The reaction of a solution of a OH-groups-containing polymer with a diisocyanate or a dicarboxylic acid dichloride leads to a gel, crosslinked by covalent bonds. The crosslink density depends at a given polymer concentration on the concentration of OH-groups in the polymer chains and on the conversion of the reaction.
