Information Sources Concerning Infrared Spectroscopy and Spectra

  • Frank S. Parker

Abstract

In biochemical and related types of research it is often imperative that one be able to compare the spectrum of an unknown substance with those in a collection. There are many such collections available in books and other commercial sources, but it is equally important to maintain a collection of spectra recorded in the laboratory, since these are specifically related to the research interests of the workers in that laboratory. For references to individual compounds (many of which are biochemicals) the reader is referred to the indexes of this book.
