Combined Method for Evaluating Emotional States and Individual Response of Cats Under Conditions of Social Interaction

  • Chapter
Drug Dependence and Emotional Behavior

Abstract

Hinde aptly commented in 1970 on the gradual phasing out of the accepted boundaries between life sciences, with particular reference to animal behavior studies. This makes it difficult to decide on a yardstick for research into animal behavior. By the same token, workers in the field are making a contribution to the development of their own particular scientific discipline as well as the field of animal behavior as such.
