Abstract
The CAD industry has advanced hand-in-hand with the computer industry upon which it depends; it has benefitted from advances in computer technology and has also, in its turn, stimulated many of them. It is therefore not surprising to find that in CAD, as in computer design, a whole range of new developments are in prospect.
