The Analytical Estimation of Indomethacin in Plasma by Gas Chromatography-Mass Fragmentography
Indomethacin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, with marked pain-relieving and fever-reducing properties, is widely used in the treatment of arthritis. It is also used in the treatment of the inflammation of the tendons and following dental or bone surgery. The drug has adverse effects, particularly in higher dosage, which include dizziness, vomiting and gastro-intestinal tract bleeding.
