Morphometric and Cytoarchitectural Study of the Different Neuronal Types in the VCN of the Rat

Abstract

The study and typification of the cytoarchitecture of the cochlear nuclei have been addressed from several points of view. The aim of the present study was to attempt to classify morphometrically the different neuronal types of the cochlear nuclei by correlating the Nissl and Golgi techniques.
