Immunology of Human Infection

Part of the book series: Comprehensive Immunology ((COMIMUN,volume 9))

Abstract

During the past decade Toxoplasma gondii has emerged as a major pathogen of man the world over. It therefore seems appropriate to review the immunological aspects of this infection as they relate to disease in man and to place into perspective the various immunological parameters associated with host resistance and immunodiagnosis.
