Abstract

General comment, appreciation and criticism of the Conference which was solicited from the participants has already appeared in a previous section of these Proceedings. The following remarks are offered, at the request of the Organizing Committee, from the point of view of an interested observer who was given the privilege of access to all aspects of the operation and proceedings. I should like here to express my appreciation for this most valuable and informative experience. My remarks must necessarily be brief and personal. Obviously a full critical study would have required a further conference to formulate it!
