Abstract

It is known that the solubility of certain photosensitive glasses in hydrofluoric acid after treatment greatly depends on whether they had previously been subjected to ultraviolet irradiation. This is a matter of great practical importance. It is of interest to determine what crystalline phases increase the solubility in HF.
