Abstract
Reflection nebulae are diffuse, extended, irregularly-shaped sources that shine by the reflected light of bright luminous nearby stars. The reflection nebulae contain interstellar dust particles that reflect starlight, and reproduce the stellar absorption lines. Selected bright reflection nebulae and their illuminating stars are listed in the first two accompanying tables.
