Abstract

Four diverse but not completely unrelated topics are collected together in this chapter. First, the scope of the models can be extended to include missing data. The estimation algorithms may be modified using the EM-algorithm so as to incorporate information from observations with missing values. This enables models with latent variables to be used. Several illustrative examples are given.
