Soil Heat Flow and Temperature

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Advanced Series in Agricultural Sciences ((AGRICULTURAL,volume 8))

Abstract

The amount of heat flow in soil influences soil temperature. The temperature of the soil is related to the temperature of the air and vice versa. Both soil and air temperatures have profound influences on plant growth.
