Abstract
A suspension culture consists of cells and cell aggregates dispersed and growing in a moving liquid medium. During incubation, the amount of cell material increases for a limited period of time until the culture reaches a point of maximum yield of cell material. If the culture is diluted at this point (subcultured), a similar pattern of growth and yield will occur again.
