Abstract
It will be clear from the preceding chapters that reliable analysis of lead in industrial and environmental samples is an essential prerequisite to the assessment of human exposure, the understanding of environmental pathways of the metal and the evaluation of the effectiveness of pollution control technologies. Consequently a brief summary of the more important considerations in the chemical analysis of lead is pertinent.
