Abstract
There is no lack of reviews about the various aspects of antiproton physics. These lectures are not intended to add another one, but rather as an introduction to the particle physics aspects of antiproton physics. They should help the interested reader in finding his way into (or through) the jungle of the literature. The basic theoretical concepts and the experimental techniques are illustrated by selecting three recent experiments at LEAR and by describing their motivations and some of their results. Since a comprehensive overview about antiproton physics, also covering experiments at laboratories like KEK, BNL, or Fermilab, and applications in atomic, nuclear, and solid state physics, was beyond the scope of these lectures, I did not attempt a systematical comparison of all the recent results in experiment and theory.
