Abstract
In earlier papers1,2 I have developed the concept of functional linkage in biological macromolecules in terms of a set of potentials derivable from one another by a group of Legendre transformations. In this note I show how these potentials may be represented by a set of contour graphs which embody the results of observation and are transformable into one another by a group of graphical permutations which is equivalent to the Legendre group.
