Abstract
Dr. Katsoyannis, when do you think we will have human-like insulin made available for clinical therapy? And, Dr. Albert!r you selected .01 units of insulin per kilo per hour. This means by calculation 10–12 milliunits per minute, and the blood glucose came up to 280 mg percent. This 10 milliunits per minute is the basal value which is needed when the patient is well regulated. But, you were in the range of 280 mg percent, which is too high. Really, I cannot explain it.
