Abstract
Experimental data are reported which support the hypothesis that the high-Tc Nb-Ge phase is impurity stabilized. Oxygen, nitrogen, and silicon have thus far been used as impurities to deposit Nb-Ge films which have superconducting onset temperatures of ≳ 20 K.
