Abstract
Dr. L. Moon, Bell Aerospace Company, has made a series of mean velocity and stagnation pressure measurements from which local free-stream static pressure was determined for a coaxial air jet; I believe these data will interest you. We feel the results demonstrate that even for the simple coaxial injector geometry frequently used in H2/O2 rockets, conventional modeling techniques do not apply.
Work supported by NASA-Lewis Research Center, under Contract NAS3-16798, Dr. R. J. Priem, Project Manager.
