Abstract
Some selected aspects of the physics of the Standard Model are reviewed. In particular the present status of the measurement of the basic parameters of the Standard Model and their comparison with theoretical predictions, including radiative corrections, are discussed, together with W and Z° physics at collider energies and hadron production of heavy flavours.
