Abstract
The sampling schemes which can be considered when information about plane or spatial processes is sought are not confined to the point sampling methods dealt with in the preceding chapter. In fact, a very large variety of plans involving sampling units of 0–3 dimensions can be considered, and examples of their application can easily be found.
