Abstract

An important property of optical memories is the possibility of multichannel access to stored data.

The structure and the principle of operation of a non-coherent optical memory providing a multichannel parallel address retrieval by several quest words, are described in the work. The system can be used as a high-speed catalog of a content addressed optical memory. The evaluation of the information capacity of such a system was carried out and the results of its experimental investigation are given by the ex Ales of simple and complex searches.
