Abstract
A 69-year-old woman first presented to Ohio State University Hospitals for evaluation of lymphadenopathy. The patient had been in good health most of her life, but five months before admission she developed a lump on the left side of her neck. This gradually grew over the next several months, and she saw a physician for further evaluation. An enlarged lymph node was found, and a lymph node biopsy was done as an outpatient. The histologic appearance of the node was reported to be compatible with lymphoma. She was referred to Ohio State for further evaluation.
