Abstract

It is the purpose of this article to show that systems thinking can be a useful tool in dealing with the problems that arise from the complex interrelations between person and group. A group of people consists of persons, but personal behavior is at least partly determined by group factors according to the classical Lewinian formula: B = f(P, S) (B = behavior, P = person, S = situation).
