Abstract

All chromosome pairs are morphologically distinguishable. The X chromosome, approximately 5% of the haploid set, is a small acrocentric that is translocated onto the large acrocentric autosome. This interpretation differs from the opinions published of a Y1Y2 system but is in conformity with other mammals having such a sex chromosomal arrangement.
