Abstract
Aged humans, and other mammals, exhibit a variety of bio-behavioral changes ranging from decreases in muscle tone and motor coordination to impairments of sensory and cognitive abilities. Among the earliest, most consistent, and potentially most devasting of these changes are deficits in memory and related cognitive functions.
