Abstract

The many uses of textile fabrics include clothing, protection and decoration. These fabrics can be found as coverings for furniture and floors, and as curtains, in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms, as well as in public buildings. They are used for many different purposes. Fibers (the fundamental unit in the fabrication of textile yarn) are used as insulators and in filter cloths, pulley belts and conveyor belts.
