Abstract

This chapter shows that the nodal formulation is a general method suitable for symbolic circuit analysis. Compacted nodal analysis results in matrix sizes that are even smaller than for nodal analysis. Voltage-controlled voltage sources with an arbitrary linear transfer function may be included in the compacted nodal admittance matrix.
