Abstract
Yeh (1990, p. vii) has described requirements engineering as “… one of the most important and yet least understood subdisciplines of systems engineering.” As he pointed out, “Lack of good requirements has caused the failure of multimillion dollar projects, has impeded development productivity, and has been a major contributor to the rise of software maintenance costs.”
