Abstract

The Standard Model of particle physics is in stupendous agreement with experimental measurements; in some cases it has been tested to a precision of greater than.1%. Why then expand our model? The reason, of course, is that the Standard Model contains several nagging theoretical problems which cannot be solved without the introduction of some new physics. Supersymmetry is, at present, many theorists’ favorite candidate for such new physics.
