Abstract
The main purpose of this chapter is to help nondermatologists diagnose, and treat common skin problems. When coming to a final diagnosis is not possible, the information contained in this chapter should help nondermatologists to decide when to call an appropriate dermatology consult. It is important to keep in mind that the skin diseases mentioned here represent a fraction of the complex range of cutaneous diseases.
