Abstract
Macrophylla and Troyer are the most used rootstocks in Chile, for lemons and mandarins respectively. There are experimental evidence of differential root system morphology and anatomy, depending on their in vitro or in vivo origin, which could affect their survival potential during acclimation and the subsequent field performance. The objective of this research was to compare the adventitious root systems in microcuttings obtained from in vitro plantlets, under in vitro and in vivo conditions.
