Abstract
This chapter investigates the effects of the parameters on the characteristics of the urban equilibrium allocation. As we noted in section 2.3, there are in principle 3 × 2 city types ((renter, mixed, owner city) × (open, closed city)). To avoid some conceptual problems in defining land ownership when there is migration, we restrict the analysis to the four types shown in table 3.1.
