Abstract
This is a summary of two lectures given at the NATO Advanced Study Institute. The description of stochastic scattering is based on two assumptions: (i) the scattering is dominated by resonances; (ii) the resonances have stochastic features. The formalism is laid out. Properties of the stochastic scattering matrix are displayed. Some results and applications are presented.
