ELF Magnetic Field and Ionic Resonance: Preliminary Results on Genotoxicity and Cell Proliferation

Abstract

Despite the increasing number of experimental evidence on biological effects of extremely low frequency (ELF) magnetic field, a clear explanation of the basic mechanisms producing such effects is still lacking. It is believed that a key role is played by the dynamics of some ions such as Ca2+ involved in many important biological processes.
