Colonic Transit and Anorectal Manometry

  • Chapter

Abstract

Disorders of colonic and anorectal function affect 10-20% of the population (1). Over the last two decades the development of several new tests has facilitated better diagnostic approaches and treatment of these problems. This article provides an overview of the tests used for assessing colonic and anorectal function.
