Abstract
In this chapter we consider the use of supplementary information in a scientific poster presentation. It is important, however, that the scientific information being visually projected on the poster is complete itself and does not rely on such supplementary information to convey the scientific message. This is communicated primarily through the poster itself and the abstract published in the proceedings of the meeting. There are additional materials, however, that can be made available at the meeting that will help the viewer record your findings and make your message more lastingly noticeable. Your credibility as a scientist may also be enhanced by an obvious display of appreciation of the needs of scientists in the field.
