Abstract

Once a comprehensive conceptualization and treatment plan has been developed, the clinician should meet with the family and present the proposed treatment plan. This allows the clinician to be sure that the child, family, and health care team are in agreement with the goals of treatment and that all parties understand the expected course of treatment.
