Humor as a Coping Strategy

Abstract

If humor among humans does in fact does serve a function that approximates what the laid-back social approach does for baboons, then we should be able to observe a relationship between humor and how humans deal with stress in their everyday lives. In turn, we should find that humor has effects on our health and well-being.
