Hazard Tree Inspection, Evaluation, and Management

Abstract

Wherever trees and people cross paths,the potential for personal injury or property dam-age resulting from some type of tree failure is of public concern.When the potential for damage is great and likely to occur relatively soon,immediate and drastic measures may be required to mitigate the problem.If the potential for failure is slight and the extent of probably damage minimal,no immediate action may be necessary.Determining the appro-priate coarse of action in these situations is often complex and problematic.
