Local Forecast of Low Level Ozone by Use of Cluster Methods and Fuzzy-Models

  • Chapter
Air Pollution Modeling and Its Application XIII

Abstract

At the Free Universität Berlin a complex ozone forecast system is being developed, which is sponsored by the German Environmental Agency. The main objectiv of this scientific project is the development of a tested and applicable model system consiting of different procedures to forecast

  • • daily maxima of 1 h ozone concentrations over Germany (threshold values 180 and 240 μg)

  • • up to 3 day forecast of ozone trend over Middle Europe
