Temporary Double-J Stenting of the Ureter Following Renal Transplantation
The extravesical implantation of the transplant ureter at the dome of the bladder, first advocated by Röhl in 1969, has been the method of choice in the last two decades and has been performed successfully in 1040 consecutive renal transplantations at our institution.
