Abstract

Although a proposal of light ion beam (LIB) fusion power plant has been given (Niu, Aoki and Takeda 1988), again proposal of power plant of LIB by inertial confinement fusion (ICF) is given here as a reasonable one from technical and economical points of view, including improvement for propagation of beam and target structure in which a spherical fuel compression will be performed adiabatically in a spherically symmetric way.
