Abstract

In this talk I will discuss some properties of low dimensional string theory. In particular I will concentrate my attention on the following items: the effects of the introduction of a lattice spacing, the definition of a pure Bosonic string beyond perturbation theory, the properties of a supersymmetric string and a possible strategy for obtaining results in two dimensions.
