Abstract
The critical current density of SSC-type superconducting wire as a function of both field and temperature is measured by transport and magnetization measurements, for perpendicular field in the ranges of 0 < B < 11T and 4.2K < T < Tc. The flux pinning characteristics of both SSC-type multifilament conductor and monofilament conductor with high critical current density will be compared.
