Search of Superconductivity in Metal Clusters

Abstract

We have investigated the possibility of interpreting the even-odd alternations in the mass spectra and ionization potentials of metal clusters as evidence of pairing correlations among the electrons. In particular, we have applied a spherical BCS model to some Al clusters.
