Abstract
The new international standard ISO 8302 is written for both designers and users of the guarded hot plate apparatus. With this aim, following a very detailed analysis, the standard gives:
-
The requirements for design and construction of the apparatus as a function of desired performance.
-
The method to experimentally evaluate the actual performance.
