Part of the Operations Research/Computer Science Interface Series book series (ORCS, volume 2)

This chapter elaborates on some of the modeling process pertaining to model management. Managing a model includes maintaining documentation, conducting periodic reviews for purposes of verification and/or validation, and operating the model. Operations include running instances, called scenarios, in order to address questions for which the model was built in the first place. A collection of scenarios, related to address a common set of questions, is called a case study.
