Optimal Low-pass Ladder Design

Abstract

In this Chapter, a fundamental network theoretic idea[9] is generalized and extended to accommodate switched-capacitor LDI ladder filters to be designed with the following properties:
  1. (a)

    constant group delay in the specified portion of the pass-band within a given tolerance;

     
  2. (b)

    prescribed constancy of passband amplitude, with arbitrarily selective response.
