Nonlinear Parameter Imaging
The use of ultrasound to detect and display interfaces between tissues is increasing in medical imaging. The propagation of ultrasound through biological media has been modeled as linear process until recently. But at biological frequencies and intensities, the nonlinear acoustic effect is very important1.
